So excited to be going Goose hunting tomorrow morning! My brother is in town from Miami and this will be his first time hunting geese! Just scouted a field that has had geese in it the past 2 days straight and got written permission last night! Thousands of geese landing here! It is going to be awesome!
The best part is the fact that the field is only 1/2 mile from my house so we don’t have a long way to go! This field will hold geese each year for a week or so- as long as the corn lasts!
I have another great spot where there are always thousands and thousand of geese. We hunt close to the convergenece of the Potomac and Monocacy rivers in MD. We have a roost pond within 1/2 mile of us and can see the geese from where our layout blinds are located! Anybody know of a cheap source for blind material that you can just snap on to your layout blind? Sure would save a lot of time and without a doubt one of the most important things we have found is to have our blinds totally “Brushed Up” with corn stalks, etc.
